In this piece of work, I watched Faiza's group and they were walking together and what they had done was one of them did not want to go but they were eventually convinced. After that, two of them (Kayleigh and Faiza) decided to play a prank on the rest of them. They hid behind a wall (chair) and started screaming, making their friends think they were getting scared. They done this a couple times so the group went to look and while they were going there the two prankers snuck round the other side of the wall and scared them from behind.
In this piece of work, I think I saw too many scared characters and not enough characters that were different to each other. I think the main characters were Faiza and Kayleigh because they were taking all of the main roles but they were also trying to include everyone else. There was tension is this scene and they used it when they were screaming. This built tension because the group did not know where they went. I think Kayleigh and Faiza built the most tension by screaming. On this, I think they all showed their characters feelings but I think only Faiza understood her character. I think this is quite important because you cannot actually be your character if you do not understand your character. Nothing in this scene actually made me jump because you always saw where the characters went so when they snuck off, you still saw them. I think it is very hard to make an audience jump in a play because you would need them to focus on one side of the stage for other people to sneak of on the other side of the stage. You would also need to build up your scares to create tension and then end with a 'big scare'.
